USE ME, Tuesday

Prayerful. Prophetic. Power.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.                                                   -Acts 1:8

About
ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in New York by my parents.  I am one of six children, three boys and three girls.  When people ask me where I fall in line, I say, "It's like the Brady Bunch and I am Jan."

God was drawing me to Him when I was just a little girl.  I remember sharing the first vision God gave me in a conversation with my father.  I said, "I feel different than the rest of the kids." He answered, "What do you mean different?"  I said, "There's a light bulb over my head and it follows me everywhere I go and I think people can see it."

I believe the Holy Bible is the inerrant Word of God written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. While Paul was in prison he writes to Timothy, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16) Merriam Webster defines inerrancy, "freedom from error or untruths." 1

I believe Jesus was with God from the very beginning when He created the world.  The Apostle John tells us, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He, (Jesus), was in the beginning with God. (John 1:1-3) Jesus is the Word.  Word translated is 'logos'.  Again, Merriam Webster defines logos as,
